TEXAS 600 MAIL–O–GRAPHIC SINGLES TOURNAMENT RULES - 2006
USBC Sanction
- The Texas 600 Club for its members will conduct this tournament. The President of the Club will appoint the tournament director.
- An entrant must be a current member of USBC. She must also be a member of the Texas 600 Club and the National 600 Bowling Club, or may join when her entry is submitted National 600 Membership fee is $15.00 and Texas 600 Membership fee is $10.00. Entrant’s Texas 600 Club dues must be current for the 2006-2007 season.
- This tournament will be conducted by submitting USBC sanctioned league scores bowled during the weeks of October 29 through November 11, 2006. Entry must be postmarked by October 25, 2006. Score verification must be returned postmarked no later than November 22, 2006. If possible, please email your scores to the Tournament Director when you mail your verification.
- Entrants will use their qualified sanctioned league average as follows:
- Average Ruling A: The entering average shall be the bowler’s highest average of 21 or more games in one league at the end of the previous winter season (2005-2006 Yearbook average).
- Average Ruling B: If ruling A cannot be applied, the bowler will use her highest current 2006 summer league average of 21 or more games in one league.
- Average Ruling C: If rulings A and B do not apply, the bowler shall use her highest average of 21 or more games in one league as of closing date of entry (October 25, 20006).
- All others will use a 225 average.
- This tournament will be handicapped at 90% of 225.
- USBC rules 319a-2 (10 pin increase), 319d (tournament prize winning provision), 319c (tournament average adjustment), and 319e (15 or more pin increase in average) will not apply. USBC rule 319a-3 (reporting incorrect averages) will apply.
- An entrant participating in the Senior Division must be 55-69 prior to October 29, 2006. An entrant participating in the Super Senior Division must be 70 & over prior to October 29, 2006. A copy of identification showing her age must be submitted with her entry. An entrant in the senior division may also enter her scores in one of the other two divisions as a separate entry, requiring an additional entry form and entry fee.
- If more than three (3) games are bowled in scheduled league play, the first three (3) games will be used. Traveling leagues bowling six games (two 3-game series) may be entered for either series for only one entry fee.
- An entry may be submitted for each USBC sanctioned league in which the participant is bowling. Photocopies of the entry form and of the score verification form will be accepted. An entrant may, however, cash only once in each division entered.
- All scores must be bowled in a USBC sanctioned league.
- The prize fund will be returned 100% and will be based on at least one cash award for every six entries in each division. Averages used will be verified prior to prize distribution.
- An entry will be declared ineligible if the score verification form is returned without verification of league average AND a copy of the league recap sheet.
- The entry fee is $8.00: Prize fund $6.00 and $2.00 for expenses. The prize fund will be returned 100%. Checks should be made payable to Texas 600 Club. A fee of $10.00 will be charged for each returned check.
