You ask, "What is TWBW?"

It's the Texas Women Bowling Writers, and it is
Education, Recognition and Fellowship

Our membership is made of volunteers from local women's bowling associations across the state of Texas who are, for the most part, amateurs in the field of writing and promotion. Many of them are local association publicity chairmen.

The focus of the Texas Women Bowling Writers (TWBW) is to aid and encourage these publicity chairmen in their efforts to write articles for publications and the electronic media, to create and edit newsletters, and to create and to make effective posters. In other words, we hope to aid them in being more effective in their promotion of our sport of American tenpins, otherwise know as bowling.

TWBW gives recognition to those who excel in this field. A list of our latest award winners has been posted here at this site for the past few weeks.

Finally, we are a support group that combines fellowship with the sharing of ideas.

In the ensuing weeks you will be able to see the product generated by members and guest writers. We will also have pages including tournament standings, TWBW news, and much, much more.

We hope you enjoy.

Jan Bacon, TWBW Past President-Life Member
